Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Some of the biggest challenges I face are skepticism and people not really understanding exactly what legal logistics is. It's sad to say, but still in today's world, when someone sees women in business, they sometimes don't take us seriously. I've been in meetings where I pitched our business and people said, 'Oh my god, I love this concept. Whose idea was this?' - as if me, as a woman, was not able to come up with such an idea. That's always been the greatest challenge. I overcome it by proving the value and efficiency of our work. What I can't tell you, I can definitely show you. So I always tell people, give us a chance, and we'll show you just how useful and beneficial all of this is.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work are integrity, excellence, and reliability. It's our company motto - we work on integrity, we work on excellence, and we work on being reliable and getting it done. Integrity is very big for me. I tell my team, please don't cut corners, please don't throw things to the wayside, because I may not be right there to see you do it, but eventually, it all comes to the light. In my personal life, I prioritize knowing where I need to be and what needs to be done. I make sure to have a stop time - 6 o'clock is my stop time for my business. I come home, I interact with my kids, I do what I need to do for my family. Yes, starting your own business is not a 9 to 5 job, and I might stay up late working till 12 or 1 o'clock after everyone is in bed, but prioritizing where you need to be and what needs to be done has been a game changer for me.
