She currently serves as a Senior Tax Analyst at MAHLE Industries Inc., where she specializes in direct tax, financial reporting, and compliance initiatives. Throughout her career, Lea has built a reputation for her analytical precision, process optimization, and collaborative approach to problem-solving. Her experience spans over seven years in accounting and finance, five years in controlling, and two years in tax within the manufacturing industry. She is known for bringing energy and positivity to her work, even in challenging times, while continually striving for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
Lea’s path into accounting was inspired by her high school accounting teacher, who encouraged her to teach the class midway through her senior year—a formative moment that sparked her passion for the field. Since then, she has built her career from the ground up at MAHLE, advancing from an intern to leadership roles in controlling and tax. Her professional journey has been guided by mentorship and hard work, qualities that led one of her mentors to predict she would become a CFO by 30. Dedicated to empowering others, Lea also shares her insights through interviews and discussions, offering career advice for young women in accounting. She emphasizes focusing on personal goals, building resilience, and exploring diverse paths in business, including entrepreneurship and small business accounting. Her involvement with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, inspired by family history, reflects her compassion and dedication to making a difference beyond her professional sphere.
Outside of work, Lea finds joy and balance as a devoted mother to two young children, ages seven and three. She enjoys watching them grow, celebrating their milestones, and cherishing the moments that remind her of what truly matters. Parenting has strengthened her perspective on leadership and adaptability, teaching her to approach both work and life with empathy and patience. A lifelong learner, Lea holds a Master of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Forensic Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Madonna University, where she also earned a certificate in forensic accounting. Passionate, personable, and purpose-driven, Lea continues to grow as both a professional and mentor committed to excellence, lifelong learning, and inspiring others to pursue their goals with integrity and optimism.
