Leandra Heil is a relationship-driven insurance professional and author based in Eaton, Colorado. With over 14 years of experience in the industry, she recently launched her own independent insurance agency, Pacheco Insurance Group, LLC, bringing a fresh perspective to commercial and personal lines coverage. Leandra’s career spans hands-on experience as both an insurance producer and a transportation underwriter, giving her a deep understanding of risk management and the nuanced needs of her clients. The best career advice I’ve ever received is to never give up. Staying persistent, even in the face of challenges, has been key to my growth and success.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to never be afraid to ask questions and to take the time to truly learn the fundamentals. Building a strong foundation of knowledge not only enhances your skills but also boosts your confidence. Embrace every opportunity to grow and keep a mindset of continuous learning.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is navigating a tough market while ensuring clients fully understand the value and complexities of the services we provide. At the same time, this presents a significant opportunity to educate and guide clients, building stronger relationships and positioning myself as a trusted resource in the process.
