01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to discipline, consistency, and looking for perfection within talent. You have to protect your confidence and your reputation, because if you don't have a good reputation, if you're not reliable, respectful, or professional, it's not going to get you far. The key thing is you never, ever stop learning. You keep learning, you continue to grow, you build your skill set. I think those are the most important things, especially in any kind of industry. Technology is a big industry right now, everything is AI-generated, everybody's learning the AI, so I think there's a lot of things that you can grow from, especially learning from other people. I think it's a must.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If you're going to step into a leadership role, I think one of the bigger things is to understand that success usually comes with discipline and consistency. You have to look for a lot of perfection within talent. You have to be ready, protect your confidence, and your reputation really is what matters. If you don't have a good reputation, if you're not reliable, respectful, or professional, it's not going to get you far. The key thing is you never, ever stop learning. You keep learning, you continue to grow, you build your skill set. I think those are the most important things, especially in any kind of industry. Technology is a big industry right now, everything is AI-generated, everybody's learning the AI, so there's a lot of things that you can grow from, especially learning from other people. Say what you mean, mean what you say, and if it doesn't get done, then your credibility is shot. Know your own worth, and then people will see you for who you are.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Technology is a big industry right now. Everything is AI-generated, everybody's learning the AI. It's a technology-driven world, and everything is our cell phone. If you put it away, you're kind of lost. If you put your phone down right now, in 5 minutes, I can guarantee we're gonna pick it up and look at it. It's every 5 minutes that we need to look at our phone. It's a real issue, especially with the teenagers of today. It's a very different world. It's actually a very sad world, but I'm hoping that there'll be some type of change eventually coming down the pike with a lot of different things.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values to me are being present with my family, putting the phone down, engaging, and talking about your day. The most important thing is you sit down at dinner and ask, what was the high point of your day? What was the low point of your day? You gotta keep communication open. No matter how busy you are, you always have to make time for your family. I keep my mind clear by going to the gym, which releases so many good endorphins. The pride I take with my family and the relationships that I hold closest to my heart are everything to me. I have a sister with 5 daughters who are absolutely amazing, and I have a daughter who's going to be in high school. Being mindful and working on yourself through self-help is the best thing. As long as you're aware and mindful of it, it'll always work itself out. Your word matters, so you have to stick to things. Say what you mean, mean what you say, and if it doesn't get done, then your credibility is shot.
