Lidya Beyene
Lidya Beyene is an experienced healthcare leader and dedicated advocate for individuals with aging and disability, developmental and intellectual disabilities, and severe and persistent mental illness. She currently serves as Executive Director at L and T 24HR Residential Care LLC in Portland, Oregon, where she manages two residential care homes and is preparing to open a third. With over eight years in the field, Lidya combines hands-on caregiving experience with advanced healthcare management knowledge, ensuring compassionate, high-quality care for her residents while overseeing all operational, administrative, and regulatory aspects of her homes.
Her career began at the age of 19 at a residential group home in Minnesota, where she discovered her passion for supporting individuals in their daily lives. While completing her studies at the University of Washington, she balanced roles as a caregiver and security specialist, eventually transitioning to administrative positions such as a credentialing specialist at a nursing home. She later relocated to Oregon, where she worked as a house manager at Northwest Mental Health Management Services Inc while obtaining licensure for her own residential care home. This combination of frontline experience and administrative expertise laid the foundation for her current leadership in the field.
Lidya earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of Washington and is completing her Master’s degree in Healthcare Management at Pacific University. Her professional focus seamlessly integrates her education, caregiving experience, and entrepreneurial work. On a daily basis, she oversees operations, communicates with staff, residents, healthcare providers, case managers, and state licensors, and ensures that her homes provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. Known for her dedication, analytical skills, and person-centered approach, Lidya continues to expand her impact on the lives of the individuals she serves and the broader residential care community.
