Her Story
About Lilach
I am a public speaking confidence coach. I spent over 11 years as a top Hollywood audition coach, so I know how to bring out someone's best performance when the pressure is high. Now I work with face-of-their-business entrepreneurs and corporate professionals who need to give presentations, pitches, and interviews in high-caliber and high-stress situations, but nerves and second guessing get in their way. I use acting techniques and applied neuroscience to help clients get their public speaking nerves out of the way, sound like themselves, and fully connect with their audience, so they can feel as confident in the spotlight as they are in their expertise.
The pivot into public speaking happened when my sister was interviewing for executive roles and needed help with a presentation for a job interview - I worked with her and she ended up getting the job, and it was a night and day transformation. She encouraged me to lean into this because she saw how it could help others in her position. I also noticed in my community of small business owners that people were struggling with the marketing aspects that required them to get into the spotlight, wishing they had more confidence for social media, webinars, or marketing their services. I saw a need around me for this kind of support, and I had all this experience from coaching actors in high-stakes audition situations that translated very well.
I'm a big believer that people who actually know their stuff and are very good at their work shouldn't be held back just because there's a gap in the confidence of how they deliver it to people. I want to make sure we don't lose out on the expertise that could be given to everybody if those experts are just able to communicate it better on a larger stage.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I've always been able see patterns and connections others miss - the underlying causes of what keeps you stuck, and how to get a breakthrough. Years of coaxing authenticity from actors means I can bring out your unique confidence, even if you're not sure what that looks like. And turning things that feel complicated or overwhelming into actionable clarity is one of my superpowers. My clients routinely say, "It finally clicks! No one has ever explained this so clearly before".
My biggest success is the transformations my clients achieve. I've had a couple of clients who either got promoted in their jobs because of the work we did, or got their dream job because of the work we did together. One of them said it really changed how she carries herself in her life, because she went from somebody who's very timid and scared all the time to somebody who can really hold a large room and lead with confidence. That has really transformed other aspects of her life, even when it comes to asking for a raise, or negotiating her salary, or even changing careers. Just really having more confidence in what she brings to the table and communicating that to a larger audience and not shrinking when the spotlight was on her. It's less about me, but it's more just about the transformations that I've seen - those feel like achievements to me because obviously it's their achievement, I just helped them get there, but that's the stuff that gets me out of bed in the morning.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Honor your own energy. What's works for someone else isn't necessarily what's best for you. What feels aligned is sustainable.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My number one advice would be making sure that you build a business that actually works for you and your life and your pace, rather than listening to every advice out there which will tell you contradicting things. I've been there, trying to build a business in a way that wasn't really sustainable or kind of set me on a path to burnout, and didn't have the space that I needed to do it in a healthy way but still deliver at the highest level. As you're building your coaching business, make sure that from the ground up you're really thinking about what is the - whether it's going to be in person or online - what are the goals, how would you want it to look like, and what are the demands on your time and on your capacity that are realistic for you, so you can build it around your life and your needs, rather than trying to contort yourself into a business that was never built to fit you in the first place. Build your coaching business in a way that feels like it fits into your lives, and you don't need to force yourself into things that end up burning you out. I would also sit down and think about what are the things that you already have a tenacity about, your skills that you're bringing to the table, like the pivot that I did where I said I have all these skills already, how can I bring them to a new audience. And also what are the things that you love to do or you love about helping people and communicating with people.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In today's world, with AI gaining more abilities every day, clear impactful communication - the ability to connect to others in a way that makes them feel and take action - is becoming essential for success.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I am truly passionate about helping experts get the opportunities, promotions, and sales that confident communication makes possible.
Because I believe the world is a better place when good competent people, who really know their stuff, can finally reach the visibility and success they deserve.
