What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Just. Keep. Going.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
For young women entering my industry, I would advise staying curious and never hesitating to ask questions. It’s important not to take feedback personally, but rather to use it as a tool for growth. Building and maintaining strong professional relationships is invaluable for long-term success. I also encourage leveraging AI and other emerging technologies thoughtfully, while trusting your own judgment and intuition. Continuous learning is key in today’s rapidly evolving workplace, and embracing it will set you apart.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Right now, one of the biggest challenges in my field is navigating economic uncertainty, particularly the impact of rising construction costs and tariffs on our luxury products. At the same time, there are significant opportunities to differentiate ourselves through exceptional customer service and our expertise in large-scale projects. Being self-funded allows us the flexibility to adapt during slower periods, which is a real advantage. I remain hopeful that lower interest rates will help boost market confidence and accelerate project progress.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are kindness, truthfulness, and integrity. I also place great importance on clear communication and taking ownership of my mistakes, as I believe accountability and transparency are essential to building trust and fostering strong relationships.
