Ten minutes with Lindsay
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a strong commitment to continuous growth, a refusal to settle for mediocrity, and the determination to overcome challenges. My passion for the automotive industry began at a young age and evolved into a rewarding career where I have consistently pushed beyond expectations. As one of the few women in a traditionally male-dominated field, I used skepticism as motivation to prove what was possible through hard work, resilience, and results. Today, I take pride not only in my own accomplishments but also in helping create opportunities for other women to succeed and advance within the industry.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the automotive industry is to be confident, advocate for yourself, and never be afraid to speak up. Set ambitious goals, stand your ground, and pursue opportunities with courage and determination. One of the biggest challenges many women face is waiting for their hard work to be noticed rather than actively promoting their accomplishments. Success often requires self-advocacy, and it is important to communicate your value and pursue advancement with confidence. In a traditionally male-dominated industry, believing in yourself and having the courage to make your voice heard can be the difference between simply participating and truly leading.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest opportunities in the automotive financial services industry is increasing the representation of women in leadership and customer-facing roles. Women consistently excel in financial services, yet they remain underrepresented in many areas of the business. A key focus of mine is helping attract, develop, and advance more women within the industry while creating clear pathways for their success. At the same time, I believe there is a tremendous opportunity to continue improving the customer experience by emphasizing transparency, integrity, and trust. The automotive industry has not always enjoyed the strongest reputation, and I am passionate about demonstrating that success can be achieved while maintaining the highest ethical standards. By fostering a more inclusive workforce and a more customer-centric culture, we can create a stronger future for both the industry and the people it serves.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me, both professionally and personally, are integrity, transparency, courage, and accountability. In my career, I believe success should be built on honesty and trust, creating positive experiences for customers while helping elevate the reputation of the automotive industry. In my personal life, I am committed to being a strong role model for my children, teaching them the importance of confidence, resilience, and self-advocacy. As a mother and business leader, I strive to balance professional excellence with family responsibilities while encouraging my children to be brave, speak up for themselves, and never be afraid to stand their ground.
