Q

What do you attribute your success to?

My passion for continuous learning and improvement. I believe that the "finish line" is a myth because there is always a chance to grow and improve in everything that you do.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to trust your intuition and prioritize what truly brings you happiness, both personally and professionally.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

She encourages young women to never stop learning and to embrace continuous improvement as a guiding principle for both their professional growth and personal development.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

In my specific area, I would say we face an uphill climb in creating a culture of continuous improvement throughout the entire institution. It's too easy to rely on the status quo or the "we've always done it this way" mentality.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Obviously continuous improvement and growth is vital, but I also feel strongly that you have to be reliable and do everything with integrity. Whether it is a group of college deans or my children, I need to first show my willingness to do what I say and to do it well before expecting others to do the same.
