With 20 years of experience in healthcare administration and a specialized focus on medical aesthetics since 2017, Lindsey has built a career centered on improving patient care and organizational effectiveness. Her professional journey began in sports medicine after earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Wilmington College, followed by a Master of Science in Health & Exercise Science from Miami University. She later transitioned into healthcare administration, gaining valuable leadership experience within the Department of Surgery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. In 2017, she entered the private practice and medical aesthetics space, where she successfully helped grow a women’s health integrative medicine medical spa into a thriving organization with 40 employees before expanding her impact as a consultant supporting multiple practices.

In addition to her leadership role at Lifted Logic, Lindsey is the owner of Velavia, a boutique medical spa where she continues to champion exceptional patient experiences and high-quality care. She is a member of the American Med Spa Association and remains passionate about advancing the medical aesthetics industry through education, collaboration, and innovation. Her Interview

Ten minutes with Lindsey

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a commitment to continuous leadership development, self-awareness, and building meaningful relationships based on trust. A major turning point in my career came while working at a children’s hospital, where advancing into a senior administrative role required participation in a leadership mentorship program and a Discovery Insights personality assessment. That experience gave me valuable insight into my strengths and areas for growth, allowing me to intentionally refine my leadership style and communication approach. I believe effective leadership comes from understanding how to motivate teams, fostering professional transparency, and creating an environment where people feel supported and empowered. By being honest, adaptable, and committed to the growth of both myself and those around me, I have been able to build strong teams and achieve shared success.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The medical aesthetics industry is currently navigating significant challenges, including market saturation and an increasingly complex regulatory environment surrounding compounded medications, peptides, and evolving healthcare compliance requirements. Many practices become overly focused on their competitors, which can distract from improving their own operations and patient experience. I believe the greatest opportunity lies in looking inward strengthening team dynamics, enhancing customer service, and optimizing the areas within our control to create an exceptional and personalized patient journey. By embracing continued education, partnering with experienced industry leaders, and sharing knowledge through collaboration and mentorship, we can not only adapt to regulatory changes but also raise the standards of care, professionalism, and success across the entire medical aesthetics field.
