About Lori Hilson
Lori Cioromski is president and consultant in chemical distribution and consulting. She attended Loyola University and joined her father's chemical distribution business after college, where she became sales manager and president. Over 38 years in the chemical industry, she grew the company from $8 million to $60 million in sales before selling it to a multi-billion dollar company out of Belgium 10 years ago. She also had a startup in the water treatment chemical space that she sold last year. Lori is WBE certified and now helps others with WBE certification strategy, exit strategies, and implementing processes and procedures for business growth. She is the co-founder of Female Strong with Emily Smith and engages in philanthropy promoting women and organizations. Lori has written an international award-winning book titled You Hold the Power, Igniting your firefight for success, which has been translated into Polish.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Seek out advisors or a team of people who have built businesses into multi-million dollars. Surround yourself with great people, be it employees or advisory team. Hire the best people you can find.
