Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my faith. Over the course of my 20-year career in commercial real estate, working in male-dominated industries such as finance and construction, my faith has been a constant source of guidance and resilience. It has provided the foundation to pursue my MBA later in life and continue advancing my education through specialized certifications. My faith keeps me grounded and motivates me to lead with integrity, purpose, and commitment in all that I do.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is not to let age define who I am or what I can achieve. I’ve learned that growth and opportunity aren’t limited by a number—they’re driven by mindset, persistence, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to pursue your passions unapologetically and not let anyone’s doubts or discouragement hold you back. Stay focused on your goals, trust your abilities, and embrace every opportunity to learn and grow.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is finding people who are willing to think outside the box. Innovation and progress depend on creative problem-solving and fresh perspectives, so attracting and nurturing talent with that mindset is critical to driving success.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are commitment, integrity, and the belief that age should never define what we are capable of achieving. These principles shape how I lead, make decisions, and approach every opportunity for growth.
