Lydia Lascola

Lydia Lascola is an operations leader specializing in AI governance, human-AI collaboration, knowledge management, and organizational design. Based in Buffalo, New York, she is passionate about helping organizations thoughtfully integrate artificial intelligence by building systems that preserve human judgment while enabling responsible innovation. Drawing on experience across operations, project management, and AI development, Lydia architects governance frameworks, organizational workflows, and knowledge systems that support scalable, effective collaboration between people and emerging technologies.

Currently serving in an operations leadership role focused on the development of a custom agentic AI platform, Lydia designs the operational architecture that defines how AI systems interact with organizations, including authority structures, responsibilities, decision-making processes, and organizational memory. Her career includes experience supporting AI development within Tesla's Autopilot organization, where she contributed to data operations, quality assurance, and machine learning workflows. Her diverse professional background spans banking, manufacturing, interior design, entrepreneurship, and technology, giving her a unique systems-thinking perspective on solving complex organizational challenges. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University at Buffalo and has continued expanding her expertise through project management and professional certifications.

Beyond her professional work, Lydia is deeply committed to mentoring, faith, and community service. She served as a mentor for five years through Compeer of Buffalo, earning Volunteer of the Year recognition in 2022 for her dedication to helping young people build confidence and succeed. She also participates in church-based discipleship and authors Kingdom Civics, a Substack publication exploring the intersection of faith, human formation, technology, and engaged citizenship. Guided by curiosity, integrity, and a desire to steward technology wisely, Lydia is dedicated to helping organizations build human-centered AI systems that strengthen both people and institutions.
