Madeline Zurowsky, DVM, CVBL

Dr. Madeline Zurowsky, DVM, CVBL, is an energetic small animal veterinarian and Campus and Industry Partnerships Veterinarian at Alliance Animal Health. With over a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, she has cultivated a career that bridges clinical practice, mentorship, and educational leadership. Passionate about supporting early-career veterinarians, Dr. Zurowsky travels nationwide to recruit veterinary students, lead surgical workshops, and deliver professional development programs that prepare new graduates for confident clinical practice. She is also the creator of VetPop!, a monthly pop-music-themed workshop series that makes veterinary education engaging and memorable for students and young professionals.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Zurowsky practiced small animal medicine at Carolina Ranch Animal Hospital and Resort in North Carolina, where she specialized in general surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. She developed training programs for veterinary technicians and assistants, emphasizing client communication, pain management, and staff education. Her transition from clinical practice to a hybrid educational and corporate role was motivated by the flexibility needed to support her husband’s military service and her desire to broaden her impact on the veterinary community.

A lifelong learner and servant leader, Dr. Zurowsky earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from NC State University and her undergraduate degree from Clemson University. She is a member of multiple professional veterinary organizations and holds certification as a Veterinary Business Leader through the NAVC. Committed to mentorship, student engagement, and advancing the profession, she strives to address workforce challenges, reduce burnout, and cultivate a strong support network for veterinarians during their most formative years.
