Her Interview
Ten minutes with Mansi
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work and being a lifelong learner. I believe word and work are four-letter words, so I focus on doing the work rather than just speaking about it. Every day I read research papers or books even after long office hours.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Finance is merit-based. Show up, do the work, don't give up, and believe in yourself. Take pride in your education and work regardless of gender.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Finance is merit-based with many opportunities available to work in different areas. AI is impacting the field with expansion in public and private firms, but human judgment remains essential.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, integrity, and kindness are key. Respect everyone regardless of their credentials or background, as shown when a janitor hugged me after my award. Do your work with full integrity because it affects the state's budget.
