Her Story

About Martha

Martha Rice, LSSGB, is a Certified Professional Mental Health Life Coach and founder of Complete 'N Him Transformation Life & Health Coaching, LLC. With approximately 12 years of experience in the mental health and relationship coaching field, she specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life challenges, improve communication, and build healthier, more sustainable relationships. Her coaching approach emphasizes self-awareness, emotional growth, and identifying root causes of relational conflict in order to create lasting transformation.

Her professional background spans both mental health services and corporate leadership. Early in her career, she worked as a student counselor in community-based organizations and educational settings, supporting at-risk women, children, individuals, and families through assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention. She later advanced into corporate operations as a Supervisor of Accounts Receivable & Reporting at Vericast, where she led process improvement initiatives, managed financial reporting, supported audits, and developed systems to improve efficiency and accountability across billing and collections functions.

Martha’s academic foundation includes studies in psychology and marriage and family therapy, which continue to shape her integrative, faith-informed coaching philosophy. She is the developer of a Root Cause Framework that identifies alignment issues, lack of transparency, and financial distress as primary drivers of relationship challenges. In addition to her coaching practice, she is a speaker, podcast host, and community builder through the Relationship Reset Network, where she provides educational resources and support aimed at strengthening families and promoting personal growth and relationship restoration.

Ten minutes with Martha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to purpose, perseverance, faith, and a genuine passion for helping people build stronger relationships. My personal experience with family divorce at a young age inspired my lifelong commitment to understanding relationship dynamics and supporting others in avoiding similar struggles. Staying focused on my mission, investing in continuous personal growth, and remaining dedicated to serving others have been key factors in my journey and achievements.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received has come from a combination of corporate mentors, therapists, business coaches, and professional advisors who have guided my career and personal growth. I deeply value mentorship as a critical component of success, and the support and wisdom I’ve received from these individuals have significantly shaped both my coaching practice and my entrepreneurial journey.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women entering the helping professions to remain committed to their purpose, continue learning, and lead with authenticity. I advise aspiring coaches and mental health professionals to invest in their personal development, seek mentorship, and focus on understanding the deeper issues people face rather than simply addressing surface-level symptoms. I believe empathy, consistency, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for long-term success in this field.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the greatest challenges I see facing individuals and families today is the growing strain on relationships caused by poor communication, lack of trust, misaligned expectations, and financial pressures. These issues affect marriages, families, friendships, and workplace relationships alike.

At the same time, I see tremendous opportunities for coaches, educators, and mental wellness professionals to provide practical guidance that helps people strengthen relationships and improve overall well-being. Through coaching, speaking, podcasts, books, and online communities, there are more opportunities than ever to reach people who are seeking support, healing, and growth.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value honesty, transparency, faith, compassion, growth, and healthy relationships in both my work and personal life. I believe that lasting transformation begins with self-awareness and a willingness to address difficult issues openly and honestly. My coaching philosophy centers on helping people develop stronger connections, improve communication, and build healthier personal and professional relationships. I am committed to empowering individuals to live with authenticity, purpose, and emotional well-being.
