About Maya
Maya Aharon is the Co-Founder and CEO of Deep Glow AI, where she is building AI-powered workforce solutions designed to transform skilled trades and the service economy. Based in San Francisco, California, she is focused on developing technology that captures human expertise, operational knowledge, and decision-making insights to help organizations scale more effectively. Through Deep Glow AI, Maya is pioneering approaches to applied AI, physical-world AI, and operational intelligence, beginning with industries such as commercial HVAC where labor shortages and knowledge transfer challenges create significant opportunities for innovation.
Aharon is a serial entrepreneur and technology leader with a career centered on AI, product strategy, business development, and venture building. She entered the AI space in 2014 with her first startup and has since founded and led multiple ventures, including strategic roles in technology and energy-focused companies. Before Deep Glow AI, she founded Proper Formation, served as EVP of Product & Strategy at Turntide Technologies, and held the role of Chief Product & Marketing Officer at Redaptive, Inc.. She also gained operational experience through acquiring and scaling a skilled trades business, using firsthand industry insights to shape Deep Glow’s AI-first product vision.
Aharon’s leadership philosophy is rooted in authenticity, transparency, empathy, and purpose-driven innovation. She believes the future of AI depends not only on advanced models but on capturing the real-world context, judgment, and expertise that drive successful outcomes. A graduate of Reichman University with a degree in Business Administration and Management, Marketing, she also served for six years in the Israeli Defense Forces Special Forces, experiences that shaped her resilience, mission-oriented mindset, and approach to leadership. Today, she continues to champion the development of AI systems that amplify human capability and create lasting impact across industries.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being purpose-driven, pursuing my goals with passion, and staying fully committed to the vision until it becomes a reality.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to continuously improve every day—if you’re not growing, you’re on the wrong path. I’ve also learned that nothing is personal; focus on growth, learning, and moving forward.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to pursue what they believe in and take the time to study and master it. Remember that rejection is not personal—it is simply part of the journey toward growth and success.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge and opportunity in my field right now is that every playbook is being rewritten. We are navigating uncertainty and ambiguity, but this also creates opportunities for innovation and growth. AI is not just another software tool—it is a force that is transforming how we work, make decisions, and create value.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are authenticity, transparency, and empathy. I believe in showing up as my true self, communicating openly and honestly, and leading with understanding and respect for others.
