Dr. Milicent Driver, widely recognized as Milicent The Business Strategist, is a best-selling author, speaker, and entrepreneurial coach dedicated to empowering women to transition from corporate careers into purpose-driven entrepreneurship. Drawing on a rich academic background, including a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, and multiple master’s degrees in Human Services, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Public and Environmental Affairs, Milicent combines deep theoretical knowledge with practical experience to help women build magnetic brands, clarify their vision, and embrace their confidence. She is also a certified Christian Life Coach and integrates faith-based principles into her coaching philosophy, guiding women to discover their worth and voice.
Overcoming personal adversity has shaped Milicent’s approach to leadership and mentorship. Following a life-changing car accident that left her paralyzed and impacted her health, she transformed her challenges into a platform for growth, resilience, and empowerment. Through her coaching programs, including Build Like a Boss™ and The Magnetic Woman Program, and her Book-to-Brand services, Milicent provides women with the tools, strategies, and mindset mastery necessary to build profitable and impactful businesses. As a United States Army veteran and licensed Evangelist, she brings a unique combination of leadership, compassion, and spiritual guidance to her coaching. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my family, who has motivated me to set a strong example for my siblings, and to my unwavering determination to turn adversity into opportunity. My personal experiences, including overcoming a life-altering accident, taught me resilience, perseverance, and the importance of embracing my purpose.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women to pursue their dreams unapologetically, learn from every challenge, and embrace the power of sharing knowledge without gatekeeping. It’s important to show up confidently, clarify your vision, and recognize the value of your unique voice and God-given calling.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The opportunity lies in the growing movement of women embracing entrepreneurship and self-promotion. By providing tools, coaching, and platforms for women to build magnetic brands and transform their ideas into impactful businesses, we can support this shift and help women break free from fear, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs.
