Mimi May

Mimi May is a dedicated educator and public servant currently serving as the City Commissioner for District 3 in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. With nearly two decades of experience in education, she has taught mathematics at Bak Middle School of the Arts and within the School District of Palm Beach County. Mimi holds a degree in Psychology and Sociology with a focus on Elementary Education from Middlebury College, along with a Master’s in Education from Canisius University.

In her role as City Commissioner, Mimi is known for her commitment to community advocacy, public engagement, and effective governance. She has been recognized for her leadership and efforts in promoting local policy initiatives and civic development. Her recent involvement in leadership development programs and municipal governance training underscores her dedication to strengthening her city and inspiring collaborative change.
