Mindy Borden
Mindy Borden is a seasoned Senior Project Director with over 22 years of experience in the print and visual merchandising industry. She began her career as a visual merchandise manager for both Disney and Universal Studios, where she specialized in retail store displays, store design, signage, wayfinding, and window display graphics. Her exceptional project management skills and ability to deliver high-quality solutions led her current boss to recruit her directly from Universal, marking the start of a long and successful tenure at Color Reflections/The Vomela Companies.
Throughout her career, Mindy has built a reputation for guiding complex, multi-vendor projects from concept to installation. Working on commission, she partners closely with executive stakeholders and creative teams to help clients navigate their signage and graphic needs, providing practical guidance and solutions tailored to each application. Her expertise spans branded environments, custom digital print media, retail marketing strategies, and large-scale entertainment projects, including major accounts with Universal Studios’ theme park expansions in the U.S. and abroad.
A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in fashion design and merchandising, Mindy combines creativity with strategic project oversight. She thrives in dynamic environments where no two days are the same, balancing field work, office coordination, and production management. Beyond her professional work, she is an active supporter of the arts and local organizations, serving as a luminary member of the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center and contributing to the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.
