Monica’s coaching philosophy is deeply rooted in her personal lived experience, having navigated multiple life transitions including adolescence, motherhood, marriage, and single parenthood. She uses her story, along with her book The Rebirth, to guide others through similar challenges and show them that healing and purpose are possible on the other side of pain. She is passionate about helping women and girls break cycles of codependency, embrace their identity, and recognize that their struggles are not their ending but the beginning of a stronger, purpose-filled life.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to being able to be impactful in people's lives and helping someone with what I've gone through. A lot of us feel like what we go through is just for us, but most of the time it's not just about us - it's about those that are waiting for that open door, those that are praying for someone that's going to come and help them. I feel like now I'm in that position to be able to say that going through a divorce is not the end, being a single mother is not the end, it's only the beginning, because now you're learning your identity outside of being codependent. I didn't have someone in that time to help me, but God has put me in a position now that since I didn't have it, He's given me all the tools to go out and help someone else find their purpose and know that they are really stronger than what they think. What I'm most proud of is being able to help someone understand that what they go through isn't just for them, and that there are women waiting for someone who's been through it to show them the way forward.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell them to ignore the naysayers. No idea is a dumb idea. And give yourself grace in the process. It's always important to be a sponge, because we don't know everything. I feel like it's important to join different events and seminars so that you can learn, because there's something that we can learn from someone else all the time.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in her field right now is expanding her services beyond women to also support men, while increasing outreach and scaling her programs on a nationwide level. At the same time, she recognizes the importance of continuously investing in her growth through ongoing learning opportunities such as webinars and seminars to strengthen her impact and effectiveness.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to her in both her work and personal life are serving purpose, faith-driven service, empowerment, and resilience.
