Her Interview

Ten minutes with Morgan

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to purposeful living, continuous personal growth, and my commitment to making a positive difference. Through my career, writing, spiritual practice, and advocacy for peace and animals, I have learned the importance of perseverance, mindfulness, and embracing new beginnings. I believe peace is a daily choice, and by being a beacon of light, we can inspire others and create meaningful change in the world.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to take time each day to connect with coworkers as people. Ask about their lives, listen with genuine interest, and recognize the value of their contributions. Those everyday conversations build trust and remind people that they matter beyond the work they do.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be true to yourself, and let integrity guide your decisions. Begin each day with gratitude, remain curious, and continue developing your knowledge and skills so you can contribute with confidence and purpose. Along the way, remember the people around you—acknowledge their contributions, offer encouragement, and be generous with what you learn. Build a career that reflects your values while making room for others to grow alongside you.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

As an author, artist, and creator of Peace is an Action, I see one of the biggest challenges as finding ways to reach people while remaining true to your voice. There can be pressure to produce constantly and follow formulas, but meaningful work needs time, curiosity, and room to develop.

That also presents an opportunity: to create work that invites people to slow down, reflect, and connect with themselves and one another. Whether through a story, a painting, or a presence practice, I want to offer something that stays with people beyond the moment they encounter it.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Open communication, integrity, and compassion are central to both my work and personal life. I value environments where people feel heard, their individual contributions are recognized, and leadership provides clear guidance and meaningful support.

I believe in encouraging one another, sharing what we know, and approaching different perspectives with curiosity and respect. Whether I’m writing, creating art, or connecting with others, I want my actions to reflect those values and help people feel valued, capable, and supported in their growth.
