Her Interview

Ten minutes with Morgen

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my drive and commitment to excellence. I do not strive for perfection because I recognize that it is unattainable; instead, I focus on consistently delivering high-quality work, challenging myself to improve, and pursuing excellence in everything I do.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to be your own advocate. In an industry and workforce where men often have the first say, women can be overlooked, so it is important to develop your own voice and have the confidence to use it at the right time. Do not be afraid to speak up, make your perspective known, and allow yourself to be seen.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges in my field right now are largely driven by the economy and staffing. It can be difficult to find people who are willing and eager to work in an environment that requires regular interaction with others. In my industry, building relationships and engaging with people is an essential part of the job, so finding individuals who are comfortable and committed to that level of personal interaction has become an increasingly important challenge.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty and accountability. I believe in being honest with myself and others, and I understand that taking accountability for my mistakes is essential to growth. If I cannot acknowledge and take responsibility for my mistakes, I cannot learn from them or improve moving forward.
