Natalia Olinetchouk
Natasha Olinetchouk (She/Her) is a multifaceted operations, events, and project management professional with extensive experience spanning event planning, sales, facility management, marketing, fundraising, and communications. She has built a strong career managing complex, high-impact programs and large-scale events from concept through execution, with a focus on strategic planning, budget oversight, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional team leadership. Natasha is recognized for her adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to deliver results in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments.
Her journey into the nonprofit and events industry began during her time as a student, when she worked on a catering team supporting museum events. There, she developed a strong professional rapport with an events manager who became both a mentor and inspiration. Through that experience, she discovered a natural aptitude for event operations and coordination. When an opportunity opened for an assistant role, she stepped into it and quickly excelled, strengthening her skills in event planning, program execution, and client service. That early experience became the foundation of a career built on collaboration, learning, and a genuine talent for bringing events and programs to life.
Currently serving as Director of Programs and Events at the Northeast Johnson County Chamber of Commerce, Natasha leads initiatives that support a broad and influential business community. In this role, she has expanded her expertise to include sponsorship development and other areas of organizational growth, embracing new challenges with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. She is most energized by opportunities to serve the community—building relationships, strengthening connections, and creating meaningful impact through her work. Natasha’s driving purpose is rooted in service, collaboration, and contributing to the growth and success of the communities and organizations she supports.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to those qualities that I didn't give up. I sought and accepted help when needed. I seeked advice from wiser people, and I did not give up. Resilience and being willing to ask for mentorship and guidance from those who know more than me has been key to everything I've accomplished.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say believe in yourself, that is the first and foremost. Seek help and mentorship, because there are so many people who want to give back and who do want to help young people. And stay on it. Don't give up. Stay on it, stay resilient, and good things will happen. There are people out there who genuinely want to support you and help you grow, so don't be afraid to reach out and ask for that guidance.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge for me personally is that I have stepped into the role of director with an organization that has a very wide reach. I've been given a lot of responsibilities that I haven't had before, like acquiring sponsorships. That's something I have the skill set for, but I just haven't done it enough. So the biggest challenge is learning how to go best about it and seeking advice and help from people who know how to do this kind of thing. The biggest opportunity is that this organization has such a wide reach and influences so many things in the area and in our community. It's just a tremendous opportunity to serve the community, and that is my biggest thing. I want to serve the community. I'm the happiest when I help to strengthen and build relationships, and that's exactly what I'm doing. That is my biggest and most wonderful opportunity that I have right now.
