Q

What do you attribute your success to?

When I reflect on my success, I realize it stems from both my personal experiences and my family. While many might say that my children are my primary motivation—and they certainly are—they are not the only driving force. My determination also comes from my own childhood challenges. I was on my own at 15 and experienced homelessness, which forced me to navigate life independently and find my own path.

Those early experiences taught me resilience and shaped my commitment to creating a different story for myself and my children. I made a conscious choice to break the cycle and ensure that the hardships I faced would not define their lives—or mine.

Ultimately, my drive is rooted in both my past and my present: the lessons I learned growing up and the desire to provide a better life for my kids. That combination has fueled my determination and guided me toward the success I’ve achieved today.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that it’s never too late to start. Success can come at any stage of life—many people achieve it in their 40s or even later. I’m 43 myself, and I’ve found that it’s never too late to pursue your goals and create the life you want.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I would give to young women entering this industry is to follow your passion and not be afraid to take risks in pursuit of your happiness. It’s never too late to start something new or to reinvent yourself. My own experience shows that success can come later in life, and sometimes stepping away from a secure job is necessary to create the life and career you truly want.
