About Natalie

Natalie Dickey is a Licensed Professional Counselor and wellness entrepreneur based in Austin, Texas. She is the Founder and Owner of Elevated Wellness LLC, an integrative wellness center and gift shop in Lakeway that brings together independent practitioners offering diverse wellness and healing services. Alongside her business leadership, she maintains a private therapeutic practice focused on helping individuals navigate trauma, personal growth, and life transitions. She has approximately five years of experience in counseling and works with individuals, tweens, adults, and couples.

Dickey's therapeutic practice incorporates trauma-informed and solution-focused approaches, with specialties including individual therapy, trauma therapy, adolescent and family therapy, and solution-focused coaching. Her listed modalities include Somatic Experiencing, Holographic Memory Resolution, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Coaching, and Emotional Freedom Techniques. Her professional background also includes work as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with Austin Family Counseling. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Point Loma Nazarene University and postgraduate education in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University.

Beyond clinical practice, Dickey is focused on creating collaborative wellness spaces where practitioners can work independently while contributing to a supportive community. She has described the vision for Elevated Wellness as originating from a meditation experience approximately ten years ago, eventually developing into a physical wellness center with multiple offices and complementary services. She is also involved with Women in Business, a meditation group, and the Community Therapy Leaders Network. Her advice to women entering the wellness field centers on identifying a clear personal purpose and finding meaningful ways to bring that purpose into their professional work.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The wellness field is very broad, so I encourage young women entering the industry to first become very clear about their “why.” Once you understand your purpose, consider how you can bring that purpose into the wellness field and build a career that is genuinely aligned with what matters most to you.
