Natasha Young-Bailey, MSN, RN, CSN, CNL

Natasha Young-Bailey is a registered nurse, clinical nurse leader, and nursing educator whose career reflects a deep commitment to compassionate patient care, workforce development, and academic excellence. Drawing on extensive experience in hospice, palliative care, school nursing, and clinical instruction, she has built a reputation for combining evidence-based practice with empathetic leadership. Inspired by her grandmother's illness and motivated to expand opportunities for underrepresented communities, she has dedicated her career to improving both patient outcomes and access to quality nursing education.

Currently serving as a Pre-Nursing Instructor, Senior Cohort Instructor, and Medical Assisting Instructor at the New Orleans Career Center, Natasha prepares high school students for careers in healthcare through innovative classroom instruction, hands-on clinical training, and workforce readiness initiatives. Her expertise spans gerontology, hospice and end-of-life care, clinical leadership, quality improvement, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary care coordination. She has also served as a hospice case management nurse, clinical instructor, school nurse, and director-level nursing professional, consistently advocating for patient-centered care while mentoring future healthcare professionals. Her work in nursing education has earned her recognition as a 2026 Louisiana Nurses Foundation Nightingale Award nominee for Rookie Nurse Educator of the Year and acknowledgment for excellence in workforce development.

Natasha holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dillard University and a Master of Science in Nursing Education with a concentration in Clinical Leadership and Administration from Herzing University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Education, focusing her research on redesigning nursing curricula to significantly improve student success and certification outcomes. An active member of numerous professional nursing organizations and community mentorship initiatives, Natasha remains passionate about advancing diversity within the nursing profession, strengthening healthcare systems through leadership and quality improvement, and empowering the next generation of nurses to lead with compassion, integrity, and clinical excellence.
