Netta Caligari

Netta Caligari is a beekeeper, apitherapist, and founder of The Apiarian Home, an independent home fragrance company inspired by the honeybee hive. Based in Fort Collins, Colorado, she creates beeswax-infused natural fragrances using materials from the hive, plants, and essential oils. Her work explores what honeybees can teach us about how we sense the world, while bringing the beauty, rhythms, and wisdom of the hive into everyday spaces.

Netta’s journey into beekeeping and apitherapy began after a major health disruption prompted her to explore hive products such as honey, propolis, and bee pollen. Experiencing a renewed sense of vitality sparked a deeper curiosity about honeybees and their relationship with people and the environment. She eventually became a beekeeper and developed a profound appreciation for the interconnectedness, adaptability, and collective intelligence of the hive. In 2026, she founded The Apiarian Home, drawing on these experiences to create products that encourage intentional living, sensory awareness, restoration, and a stronger connection with nature.

As an entrepreneur, Netta manages every aspect of her business, from product development, formulation, sourcing, packaging, and fulfillment to e-commerce, marketing, sales, customer experience, and operations. She also brings more than a decade of experience in community engagement across higher education, nonprofits, and technology, where she developed relationships and connected people with meaningful initiatives. Committed to giving back, she donates a portion of The Apiarian Home’s sales to support pollinator advocacy and habitat protection. Through her business and educational work, Netta is building a purpose-driven space where wellness, creativity, entrepreneurship, and the preservation of honeybees come together.
