Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my perseverance, a clear vision of where I want to go, and my refusal to settle. I also credit my ability to adapt by realigning my goals with reality as circumstances evolve.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to let things go. There are times when holding on can distract you from what truly matters, so it’s important to release what’s behind you and focus on the opportunities and priorities in front of you.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering my industry to try a field before fully committing. Often, what you think you want to pursue may not be what you ultimately enjoy doing. Give yourself six months to a year to explore and gain experience, and then decide whether to continue or move on.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Maintaining yourself relevant, you must always continue improving and educating yourself to continue to be needed and successful in the industries today.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are organization, honesty, and giving my best in everything I do. I’m naturally a planner, and I believe that being intentional and committed in all areas of life leads to the best outcomes.
