About Nicole
Nicole Naeger Jordan, MA, MBA, is an accomplished healthcare commercialization and proposal strategy professional with extensive experience supporting the pharmaceutical industry through solution design, business development, and patient support initiatives. As Associate Director of Solution Design at Syneos Health, she collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop strategic, client-focused solutions that help pharmaceutical companies improve patient access to therapies through field sales, medical affairs, patient support, reimbursement, market access, and adherence programs. Since beginning her career in proposal management at Express Scripts in 2013, she has built more than a decade of expertise in proposal development, pricing strategy, and healthcare commercialization, while continually embracing innovation, including the integration of artificial intelligence to improve team efficiency and knowledge management.
In addition to her industry leadership, Nicole has dedicated more than a decade to higher education as an adjunct professor at Maryville University of Saint Louis, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in communication, leadership, organizational behavior, marketing analytics, and business. She is passionate about developing future professionals and fostering organizational growth through mentorship, onboarding, and leadership development. Throughout her career, she has created structured mentoring and leadership programs that connect emerging talent with experienced professionals while promoting effective communication, change management, and conflict resolution.
Nicole holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Leadership, all from Maryville University of Saint Louis. She further strengthened her expertise by earning the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) credential, reflecting her commitment to agile leadership and continuous improvement. Guided by the values of integrity, transparency, and open communication, Nicole is recognized for building collaborative teams, advancing innovative healthcare solutions, and helping organizations deliver meaningful outcomes for both clients and patients.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to growing up around entrepreneurs, which inspired me to work hard, pursue higher education, and always strive for excellence. I approach every opportunity with a willingness to learn, continuously build my expertise, and go above and beyond in my work. I also believe that success is best achieved by supporting and helping others grow along the way.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is to never give up on yourself. There will be times when you experience self-doubt or imposter syndrome, but it's important to keep believing in your abilities and continue pushing forward. I also believe in finding mentors, nurturing those relationships over time, staying connected with people throughout your career—you never know when your paths may cross again.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to never be afraid to ask questions or change your perspective. Be inquisitive, always ready to learn and take on new, interesting projects. One question or project can redirect your career path and trajectory, and you may find yourself in a better role than you ever imagined.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is AI. Our industry is constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency, and I've taken the lead on bringing AI solutions to my team. As our subject matter expert, I've implemented ChatGPT knowledge bases, continue learning how to build AI agents, and help train others on using these tools to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity and transparency are the values I prioritize most in both my work and personal life. I believe in open, honest communication, and I value addressing challenges directly and collaboratively to work through any issues or friction.
