Her Interview

Ten minutes with Nicki

01What do you attribute your success to?

It sounds simple, but every experience has contributed to where I am now. Between continuing education, coaching, event coordinating, and various leadership positions, I feel prepared to operate my own business.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Stay positive and keep looking forward. Trust that every experience you have — even if it doesn’t seem directly connected at the time — is shaping your future. I never initially envisioned founding an etiquette consulting company, but my background in coaching, event coordinating and management, and leadership ultimately led me here. Choose growth, stay open to opportunities, and trust that your experiences are guiding you toward your purpose.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges is that etiquette and professional skills education are not as commonly taught anymore. Many young professionals are entering the workforce without foundational knowledge in communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills. However, this also presents a tremendous opportunity. There is a clear and growing need for etiquette coaching, particularly for young adults transitioning into corporate environments. Additionally, as I build my business, forming partnerships with colleges and corporations provides a meaningful opportunity to expand access to professional development and confidence-building training.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Social and emotional intelligence and strong communication skills are central to both my professional and personal life. In my work, I focus on fostering kindness, respect, and consideration, helping individuals navigate social and professional environments with confidence. I believe that smooth, thoughtful interactions are foundational to success. These same values guide my personal relationships and the way I engage with my community.
