Nikita Upadhyaya

Nikita Upadhyaya is a seasoned pharmaceutical marketing leader with over a decade of experience driving innovative brand strategies across multiple therapeutic areas. Currently serving as the National Strategic Engagement Lead for the Colorectal Cancer franchise at Takeda Oncology, she has played a pivotal role in product launches, KOL engagement, and the development of comprehensive HCP and patient-focused marketing initiatives. Her expertise spans brand and field marketing, congress and vendor management, and the execution of multichannel campaigns that enhance both physician and patient experiences. Nikita began her career in the pharmaceutical industry in India, gaining valuable experience in sales and brand management before transitioning to the U.S. market, where she has successfully managed late-stage oncology product launches. She holds an MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and a Master’s in Marketing Analytics from Bentley University. This combination of scientific knowledge, marketing acumen, and analytical skills enables her to translate complex medical data into strategies that drive meaningful engagement and measurable business outcomes. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nikita is a dedicated advocate for women in healthcare. She actively volunteers with the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, where she has been recognized with the HBA Honored Volunteer Award, and regularly contributes as a speaker and judge at industry forums, including Fierce Pharma and the BioPharma eMarketing Summit. Known for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to patient-centric marketing, Nikita continues to influence the oncology field while fostering growth and mentorship within her teams.
