About Nikki
Nikki Jackson serves as Executive Director and Founder of a nonprofit organization she launched in 2021. Drawing from her personal experience as a single mother of five children without support or resources, she created the organization to provide what she lacked, emphasizing support for low-income families along with financial literacy training in budgeting, savings, and credit, healing from trauma, and mental health awareness. In her role, she focuses on building community awareness, fostering relationships, securing grants and donations, and pursuing ongoing education through nonprofit sector trainings. Jackson holds certificates from the University of North Dallas and the University of Arlington. The organization has earned the Community Impact Award twice since 2021, with nominations from the community. She also volunteers with initiatives such as Jewel's Comfort Keeper, which assists individuals transitioning from prison, a cause close to her due to personal family circumstances. Jackson attributes her success to a willingness to invest in her own personal and professional development and to consistently applying the knowledge she acquires from classes, trainings, and resources.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being willing to invest in myself through personal and professional development. Some programs or classes might be free, some might have a cost, but basically investing into my personal and professional development. A lot of times we get all these books and don't apply it. So I would say the best thing is to apply the knowledge that you've learned.
