Her Interview

Ten minutes with Pamela

01What do you attribute your success to?

My parents played a very large role in it. They are the most selfless human beings I have ever met. ... my husband just having faith ... that terrible ex ... My faith plays a role in all of that as well.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don't settle. Find a role and an opportunity that really suits you, that the vision, mission, values really aligns with what you believe in. And don't settle. Because there is someone ... that will truly appreciate you, want to guide you, want to see you excel.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Start it while you're still working. Even if it's just little things you're doing on the side to start getting some momentum going. But number two, you can't let small setbacks make you feel like a failure. There's little wins everywhere. And take them in, and just keep on moving forward. Because if you have the mindset that you will get there, you will get there.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Business owners and leaders are already feeling overwhelmed with AI and technology. They feel like the team of people don't want to work today. They view the program as an optional add-on like an automatic car starter rather than essential brakes. The challenge is getting them to see it as an insurance policy before problems like losing top performers or legal claims arise.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty is number one. Honesty is the best policy. ... Having a good work ethic is very important. Timeliness ... Being where you say you're gonna be and living up to your commitments.
