Dr. Patricia (Collier) Bloodworth

Dr. Patricia (Collier) Bloodworth is a seasoned educator and transformational leader with over two decades of experience in K–12 and higher education. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Program Director at St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida, where she also earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Innovation with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Dr. Bloodworth is a proud member of the prestigious Kappa Gamma Pi National Catholic Graduate Honor Society, recognized for her academic excellence and leadership capabilities. Her teaching philosophy centers on equity, innovation, and student-centered learning.

Before transitioning to higher education, Dr. Bloodworth had a distinguished career with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, serving as a principal for over eight years. Under her leadership, inner-city schools saw notable improvements in academic performance, including "A" and "B" state ratings and full compliance with federal standards. She also held several key administrative roles, including Assistant Principal and Title I Coordinator, where she spearheaded initiatives to raise student achievement and implemented data-driven school improvement plans. Her management of multimillion-dollar budgets and oversight of hundreds of union employees reflect her organizational and strategic acumen.

In addition to her academic and administrative expertise, Dr. Bloodworth brings a business-minded approach to leadership. She served as Managing Director of a financial services firm for six years, supporting wealth-building strategies and business development for clients. Her broad skill set, which includes curriculum development, teacher mentorship, and experiential learning, allows her to bridge the gap between educational theory and real-world application. Passionate about lifelong learning, she holds multiple certifications, including a Women's Fitness Specialist credential from NASM, underscoring her holistic approach to education and personal growth.
