Explore how self-trust, discernment, and embodiment transform accomplished women's leadership through intentional choices in love and relationships, creating a soft landing rather than another duty.
Her Story
About Patricia
My work centers on three capabilities accomplished women already possess: Self-Trust, Discernment and Embodiment.
Women who lead make consequential decisions every day with incomplete information. We draw on experience, pattern recognition, judgment and intuition, and other people trust us to do it.
But in our personal lives, we sometimes abandon that same inner authority.
We analyze. We explain. We give something more time when some part of us already knows.
I believe our inner intelligence often recognizes very quickly whether a relationship deserves further exploration. The challenge is not acquiring that intelligence. The challenge is learning not to overrule it.
I trusted mine when I met the man who became my husband more than fifty years ago. That experience eventually became the foundation of the work I now do with accomplished women.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I have so much resilience. I'm like a bulldog when I get an idea, and I want to see it happen. My steadfastness and resilience and my vision. And just going after it.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Believe in yourself, and go for it. Because there are many dating coaches but my experience has been everybody has their way of helping, and this is my way of helping. What advice would you give to young women entering your industry? I would ask them to take a look at some problem that they can solve, or that they have solved in their own life, and see how they can use that to support other women to help have an easier way of it.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
For years, women have been taught to ask, “How do I get a man to choose me?” My work begins with a different question: “How do I choose a relationship where I can remain fully myself, keep the power and independence I’ve earned, and still experience the intimacy I desire?”
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide both my work and my personal life are self-trust, integrity, discernment, peace, and the freedom to remain fully yourself in relationship with others. I believe a woman should be able to trust what she knows, make choices that are aligned with who she is, and build relationships that add to the life she has created rather than require her to diminish herself to maintain them. Peace is especially important to me. At this season of life, I don’t believe success should be measured by how much we can carry, tolerate, or manage. I’m interested in what allows a woman to exhale. That philosophy shapes Grown-Up Love Society as well. My work is ultimately about helping accomplished women use the inner authority they already possess to choose relationships where they can remain powerful, whole, and deeply connected.
