Her Interview
Ten minutes with Patricia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to perseverance, hands-on experience, and a commitment to excellence built over more than two decades in the event planning industry. I began my career working in hotel event planning, where I learned the importance of precision, logistics, and client service. Over time, I built on that foundation and took a leap of faith to create my own company, 3P-Events, LLC. Growing the business from the ground up and leading a dedicated team has required resilience, adaptability, and a deep understanding of every layer involved in executing successful events.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t just do the work—own the outcome.
A lot of people execute tasks. Very few take responsibility for the result.
When you:
- Think beyond your role
- Solve problems before they happen
- Care about the final experience, not just your piece
You become indispensable—and that’s where real growth (and money) happens.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering the industry to prioritize financial stability and personal investments early in their careers. It is important to understand your career direction clearly, but also to remain flexible. If event planning or any chosen path does not bring fulfillment, it is acceptable to change direction. Success should be aligned with personal happiness and purpose rather than external expectations or obligations.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in our industry right now is consistently bringing in new customers in a very competitive market. There are a lot of event companies, and many organizations are trying to manage events internally to save costs. That makes it harder to stand out unless you clearly show your value.
The opportunity, though, is bigger than ever.
Companies are overwhelmed—managing events, travel, branding, and logistics all at once. They don’t have the time or internal resources to do it well.
That’s where we come in.
At 3P-Events and Branding Solutions, we position ourselves as an outsourced event, travel, and branding partner—not just a vendor. We help clients:
- Reduce internal workload
- Improve execution
- Deliver more impactful experiences
The real opportunity is in shifting the conversation from “we plan events” to “We make your job easier and your events better.”
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me—both in my work and personal life—are integrity, accountability, and relationships. Integrity is foundational. I believe in doing what I say I’m going to do and being transparent with clients, partners, and my team. Accountability is critical in my industry. Events have many moving parts, and I take ownership of the outcome—not just my role—so everything runs smoothly.
And most importantly, relationships. My business has been built on trust and long-term partnerships, not one-time transactions. I value people, communication, and creating experiences that bring others together. These values guide how I run my business, how I work with clients, and how I show up every day.
