Petula Sankarsingh, MBA
Petula Sankarsingh is the driving force behind VisionReady, a global movement for women who are ready to design lives rooted in intention, ambition, and possibility. VisionReady reflects Petula’s core belief that women do not need permission to recreate themselves. They need the right tools, powerful mindset shifts, and a supportive ecosystem that honors their evolution.
As the creator and CEO of VisionReady, Petula blends strategic precision with intuitive leadership, helping women shift their energy, trust their vision, and pursue aligned success. Her work lives at the intersection of confidence, empowerment, and lifestyle design, empowering women to break patterns, embrace their brilliance, and take control of their personal and professional narratives.
VisionReady is not just a platform. It is an experience. Through coaching, storytelling, virtual gatherings, and transformational programs, Petula builds spaces where women feel seen, elevated, and equipped to step into the future they desire.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Petula is the author of A Love Letter to Me, a sommelier, a registered yoga teacher, and the host of the Disrupt Your Day podcast, where she challenges women to think differently about success and self-reinvention. Her global travels to Italy, South Africa, and beyond inspire much of her work, infusing VisionReady with culture, connection, and bold creativity.
At her core, Petula is a builder of women, a creator of experiences, and a leader who believes in the power of designing a life by intention, not by default.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to trusting myself even when the next step wasn’t obvious. I’ve learned to follow my instincts, stay aligned with what feels right, and walk away from anything that doesn’t serve my growth. That ability to listen inward has guided every major shift in my life.
I also credit my willingness to begin again. Reinvention has been a constant thread for me. I don’t hold onto roles, titles, or seasons that I’ve outgrown. I allow myself to evolve, and I move with intention when it’s time for the next chapter.
And truthfully, my success comes from resilience. I know how to navigate challenges, rebuild when needed, and keep moving with clarity and purpose. That strength shows up in how I lead, how I create, and why VisionReady exists.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received was simple. Stop shrinking to fit environments you have outgrown. That truth shifted everything for me. It reminded me that I do not need to stay anywhere my voice, vision, or value is not fully honored.
I also learned that choosing myself is never the real risk. The real risk is staying in places that limit my growth. Once I understood that, I began making decisions from clarity instead of fear, and every opportunity that followed aligned with who I was becoming rather than who I used to be.
That advice continues to guide how I lead, how I work, and how I build VisionReady. It keeps me aligned with spaces that match my energy and my ambition.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Trust your voice from day one. Your perspective, your ideas, and your energy are not meant to blend in. They are meant to lead you.
Do not wait for permission to take up space. This industry rewards women who move with clarity, confidence, and intention. Learn the skills, understand the landscape, but never lose yourself in the process.
Build relationships that feel aligned. Surround yourself with women who are doing the work, thinking bigger, and creating lives they believe in. Community matters, and the right people will elevate you faster than any title.
Stay committed to your growth. Reinvent yourself whenever it is needed. Let go of roles, expectations, and paths that no longer match who you are becoming.
Most of all, believe that you belong here. Because you do.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in this field is the amount of noise. Women are being pulled in many directions and flooded with information that is not always aligned, grounded, or genuinely supportive. It can be hard to know who to trust and where to place your energy.
The opportunity is in creating real spaces where women feel seen, supported, and guided with intention. Women want more than motivation. They want clarity, strategy, and community. They want solutions that actually move their life and career forward.
Another challenge is the outdated idea that personal and professional development are separate. The truth is they are deeply connected. The opportunity is in helping women design their life as a whole, not in isolated pieces.
This is exactly where VisionReady stands out. We are in a moment where women are ready for reinvention, ready to shift their mindset, and ready to take ownership of their lives. The opportunity is to meet that desire with tools, leadership, and experiences that create real transformation.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Clarity is one of my core values. I make decisions with intention, and I lead with a clear understanding of what I want to create. When I am clear, everything else aligns.
Integrity is another non-negotiable. I show up as myself in every room, and I expect the same from the people I work with. Authenticity matters. Energy does not lie.
Growth is important to me. I believe in evolving, elevating, and choosing paths that reflect who I am becoming. I value environments where transformation is encouraged and supported.
Connection also plays a major role in my life and work. I believe in building real relationships, creating community, and surrounding myself with people who inspire me to expand.
And freedom. I value the freedom to design my life, trust my vision, and move in ways that honor my peace, my ambition, and my purpose.
These values guide how I lead VisionReady, how I make decisions, and how I choose the next chapters of my life.
