About Pooja
Pooja Motiramani is a senior technical recruiter with almost 15 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. She currently serves in this role at Intuit, where she hires for leadership positions, following five years at Amazon as a senior technical recruiter. Throughout her career she has focused on hiring technical talent in the U.S. for nearly a decade. Pooja attributes her success to a resilient, not-giving-up attitude, having faced major layoffs and health issues while maintaining a positive mindset and pursuing her passion. She is passionate about building people's dreams and companies' teams. In addition to her professional work, Pooja volunteers with associations such as Empowering and Wahati, as well as multiple women in tech groups, where she has spent almost a decade empowering women and guiding their return to the workforce. She has received the Woman Icon Award and the Be the Light Award from her team at Amazon.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my not giving up attitude and being resilient. I have faced major layoffs and health issues but continue to pursue my passion with a positive mindset.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise to follow your passion and make an impression. Networking is super important in today's time, and you have to understand that whatever you bring to the table should be well clarified on your LinkedIn profile as well, on your resume. So put your best foot forward, and have trust in yourselves.
