I attribute my success to my dedication to advancing my knowledge and expertise, exemplified by my pursuit of a PhD in Systems Engineering. This commitment has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of complex systems and apply that knowledge to achieve meaningful results.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to help others truly understand the full value and inner workings of automotive systems, including electrical and advanced technologies like those used in Tesla vehicles. By sharing knowledge and explaining how things work, I can create a deeper appreciation for the industry and inspire innovation.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to ask the hard questions, make difficult choices, and embrace challenges. Growth and success come from stepping outside your comfort zone and tackling the situations that push you to learn and lead.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is managing recalls. While recalls are essential for safety and quality, they can be costly for companies. This also presents an opportunity to develop more efficient processes and solutions that address safety concerns while minimizing financial impact.
