I attribute my success to a foundation built through fifteen years of social work, which shaped my empathy, resilience, and problem-solving skills, combined with a lifelong passion for technology. Bringing together my technical curiosity, creative mindset, and lived experience as a mother allows me to navigate complex systems and support meaningful, patient-centered outcomes every day.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received was from a dear friend I have known since elementary school regarding my desire to change my career path to healthcare IT. She said, “Don’t be intimidated, prepare as much as possible for your interviews and truly believe you are capable of doing this complex and challenging work.”

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be persistent, prepare thoroughly, and don’t shy away from applying just because you feel unqualified—once you get your foot in the door, you’re golden, so have confidence in yourself and go for it.
