About Raven
Raven Warren is a licensed cosmetologist, elite stylist, cosmetology instructor, pastor, and nonprofit founder whose career reflects a deep commitment to service, education, and leadership. With 18 years of experience in the beauty industry, she has spent the past decade with Ulta Beauty in Sandusky, Ohio, where she has advanced to the role of Elite Stylist and Technical Ambassador. In this capacity, she provides exceptional salon services while training and mentoring new stylists through Ulta Beauty's six-month education program. Her professional journey began after graduating from Vanguard Career Center in 2008, and has been further enriched through additional studies at TerraScape and Ohio Business College, as well as her pursuit of a Master's degree in Pastoral Care at Ashton Seminary.
Throughout her career, Raven has successfully combined technical excellence with a passion for developing others. Beyond her achievements in cosmetology, she has built a diverse professional background that includes experience in the medical and insurance industries, giving her a well-rounded perspective on leadership and client care. Her dedication to excellence has earned her numerous district-level Top Stylist awards from Ulta Beauty, a plaque recognizing 10 years of service, and the Emerging Leader of the Year Award from the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance. These accomplishments reflect her commitment to continuous growth, professional development, and empowering others to succeed.
Outside of the salon, Raven is devoted to faith-based leadership and community impact. As a pastor and founder of the Crown Adjustment Women's Mentor Group, she provides guidance and support to women through initiatives focused on self-esteem, mental health awareness, financial literacy, parenting, and spiritual growth. Guided by her core values of authenticity, honesty, faith, family, and selfless service, she strives to inspire transformation both personally and professionally. Looking ahead, Raven plans to open her own salon, continue advancing her education in cosmetology and pastoral care, and expand her nonprofit organization into an international movement that empowers women around the world.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Everybody that helped me get through school and motivated me. My relationship with God and all of the principles that you learn in the Bible to be a good person, to esteem others higher than yourself, to be selfless, gentle, patient. All of those virtues have made me who I am.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Remain consistent, continue learning, and never lose sight of the purpose behind your work. Success is built through accountability, perseverance, and staying committed to serving others with excellence.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
As far as hair is concerned, get all the skills, training, be a sponge. Get as much knowledge as you can get early on. Be very diverse. Don't just cater to one demographic. For the church side, make sure that God called you to this because it's a very difficult job. Make sure your life, family, home is stable.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges are inconsistencies in other people and lack of accountability. Consistent dedication is required for success in any area. Opportunities include developing real passion instead of burnout and repetitive motion.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity is everything to me. Honesty. Being genuine, being pure. Real genuine love. My family is immeasurable. My husband, our love, our relationship. Honesty and purity.
