Rejane de Moraes is an accomplished Crop Protection and Nutrition R&D leader and a highly respected life sciences program and project manager with more than two decades of global experience advancing sustainable agricultural systems. Currently serving as Marketing Expansion Leader for the Greencorp® Group, she leverages her deep expertise in biosolutions, crop protection, and cross-functional leadership to expand innovative agricultural technologies into key international markets. Throughout her career, Rejane has built a reputation for designing and implementing high-impact processes, products, and programs that drive both environmental stewardship and business value.

Prior to her current role, Rejane led major initiatives across the agricultural innovation landscape, including global R&D project management at AgBiTech and leadership roles at Global BioAg Linkages and the BioAg World Congress. Her scientific foundation—rooted in entomology, molecular biology, and plant pathology—paired with extensive industry experience, enabled her to guide the successful characterization of new insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides from discovery through development. One of her most notable achievements includes leading a 20+ member cross-functional team to bring a new insecticide from concept to commercialization, achieving an estimated peak annual sales value of $150 million. She has also transformed organizational systems, such as designing and implementing a global product label review and approval process that significantly improved speed, quality, and regulatory efficiency.

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a strong academic foundation—including a BS in agronomy, a master’s in crop production, and a specialization in entomology—combined with the discipline gained through earning my Six Sigma Master Black Belt and PMP certifications. Along the way, mentors like my first advisor in Brazil and a colleague from DuPont shaped my growth, reinforcing the value of lifelong learning, openness to feedback, and the confidence to pursue my interests with purpose.
