Her Interview

Ten minutes with Richchelle

01What do you attribute your success to?

God. It's really God, because I wanted to give up on time for me, and me getting in my Bible, reading my Word, and to stay consistent with my relationship with God is what has kept me where I'm at, and kept me, because it was times I wanted to give up on my own life, so that's truly God.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

To keep going, to never stop, that my purpose is bigger than myself. So, I have to remember that what I'm doing is bigger than me.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

To know that it's not gonna always be easy, but if you get up daily, and you choose God in yourself, and you believe in yourself in a way that you can't expect other people to believe in you high, you have to believe in your own vision. So you continue to chase after your dreams and goals, no matter what other people think, what other people may not understand, because the vision is yours, and it's yours to chase and achieve.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Keeping the self-confidence and the mental roadblocks of getting tired or wanting to give up. Some days when things aren't going how I want them to go, I just sometimes you know you want to give up, but I have to get over those obstacles and still keep going. The mental roadblocks and facing personal life still while trying to help other people.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

First and foremost, God, of course. My family and my friends, I truly value the people in my life because they help keep me going and keep me motivated. And it's days that I don't want to do these things, and I get, you know, tired and drained, but they give me the encouragement and the push to keep going. So I'm truly thankful for the people that God has blessed me with.
