01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my passion for nutrition and my lifelong commitment to teaching and helping others. I have also been fortunate to learn from strong mentors, work alongside highly skilled professionals, and stay dedicated to continuous education and public service. My ability to communicate complex health information in a simple and engaging way has also been a key part of my success.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to follow what you are truly passionate about, because when you do, the impact you can have on people’s lives becomes immeasurable. Staying committed to your purpose and continuing to grow within your area of expertise is what allows long-term success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is to find the area of nutrition or healthcare that you are truly passionate about and commit to it deeply. When you are aligned with your purpose, you can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I also encourage young women to stay curious, keep learning, and never underestimate the value of their impact.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest ongoing challenges in my field are chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, inflammation, and poor nutritional habits. At the same time, there are significant opportunities to improve public health through education, science-based interventions, and better lifestyle guidance, especially as new treatments and tools continue to evolve.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are education, compassion, integrity, and lifelong learning. I believe in empowering people with knowledge so they can make better choices for their health. I also value communication, service, and helping individuals and families achieve healthier, longer lives.
