What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the invaluable mentorship I received from others, who treated me as an equal. Their guidance and support inspired me to both seek and provide mentorship throughout my career, in both official and informal capacities. Above all, my determination and refusal to give up have been key drivers of my growth and achievements.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to recognize the tremendous opportunities available within associations and nonprofit organizations. This field is rich with examples of strong female leadership, including many women who serve as CEOs and Executive Directors. Let their success inspire you to step forward with confidence—there is ample room for women to lead, make an impact, and shape the future of this industry.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values to me in both my work and personal life are mentorship, growth, and connection. I believe in the power of guiding and supporting others, as reflected in my experience mentoring a young professional in Europe for a year and helping a recent college graduate navigate and advance in their career. These relationships remind me that success is not just about personal achievement—it’s about lifting others as you climb and creating opportunities for shared growth.
