About Samantha

Samantha Bruce is an accomplished entrepreneur and sales professional with experience spanning pet care, fitness, client relations, business development, and operations. She founded Trusty Sits, a pet-care business she built from the ground up, beginning with neighborhood dog-walking services and expanding through online marketing and the hiring of two employees. This entrepreneurial experience strengthened her skills in customer service, marketing, business operations, and relationship management.

Samantha later developed extensive experience in the fitness industry, working in sales and project development roles with organizations including F45 Training and ISI Elite Training. Her responsibilities included lead generation, consultations, client follow-up, membership growth, local marketing, content creation, and community outreach. These experiences sharpened her ability to build sales pipelines, coordinate initiatives, maintain strong client relationships, and balance customer needs with organizational goals.

Currently, Samantha is pursuing opportunities in software sales while studying Project Management at Campbell University. She is also completing intensive sales training through RevGen, where she is developing expertise in prospecting, cold calling, CRM management, lead generation, and booking product demonstrations. Known for her perseverance and willingness to embrace new challenges, Samantha approaches her career with a growth-oriented mindset and is committed to building meaningful relationships, delivering results, and pursuing work that aligns with her interests and long-term goals.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Samantha

01What do you attribute your success to?

Perseverance is really what I want to talk about, like how someone could come from literally nothing and turning that into a story of just perseverance. No matter how hard things seem right now, if you try on the days you don't want to try, you just keep going.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don't just do something for the money. Do it because you truly are passionate about it and you really enjoy it, because money is easy to make but you can't make happiness. Actually finding something that genuinely brings you happiness outside of just making the money is so important.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If you're young, or especially if you're a woman and you're a little bit younger, don't be afraid to take risk just because of rejection. You're always gonna face rejection every single day. Don't be afraid of taking risks and facing rejections here and there. Just go and get it. Life is short, you want to live a life that truly fulfills you and you don't want to die with any regrets.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field has been adapting to changes in the job market, which led me to transition into sales and embrace new opportunities for growth.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Perseverance is one of the most important values in my work and personal life. I believe that even when things are difficult, continuing to show up, put in the effort, and keep moving forward—especially on the days when it is hardest—is what ultimately leads to progress and success.
