Q

What do you attribute your success to?

Never giving up and constantly fighting for myself.

And never stop praying.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

There is no glass ceiling.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple but powerful: keep pushing forward, trust in your abilities, and break through the limits others may try to impose. Embrace challenges and use every hardship as fuel to grow, lead, and make your mark.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Every challenge faced became an opportunity to prove not just what could be endured—but what could be built.

Being honored is not just for what has been achieved, but for what is represented: an underdog who refused to stay down, a survivor who turned pain into purpose, and a woman who rose from survival into leadership. My story resonates with women still fighting to be seen, reminding them that even after trauma, struggle, or doubt, it is possible to reclaim your voice, pursue your purpose, and lead with confidence.

"I stand not only for myself, but for every woman who’s been underestimated, overlooked, or silenced. We rise, we lead, we make our mark—and nothing can stop us."❤️-SLW
