Currently working as an Implementation Consultant through Mondo, Samara designs scalable digital forms, workflow automations, and platform-based solutions that bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. Whether streamlining onboarding and offboarding experiences, improving operational workflows, or supporting enterprise migrations, she believes great technology should feel intuitive, reliable, and empowering for the people who use it.
What makes Samara’s journey unique is the combination of experiences she brings to the table. With roots in human services, business operations, and technology, she approaches problem-solving with both strategy and empathy. Samara earned her MBA in Business Analytics and Organizational Leadership from Eastern University and continues to grow her expertise in cybersecurity, program management, and IT operations strategy. 01What do you attribute your success to?
If I had to attribute my success to anything, it would be a combination of perseverance, lifelong learning, and community. I’ve been fortunate to grow alongside incredible mentors and peers, particularly within the ServiceNow Developer Professionals Group (SNDPG). Their support, shared knowledge, and encouragement helped shape my technical journey and reinforced the importance of lifting others as we grow. I firmly believe that success becomes even more meaningful when we help create pathways for others to thrive.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to be my authentic self, take pride in how far I’ve come, and lead by example in everything I do.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to not be intimidated by others, but instead to stand tall and confident in your abilities. Stay curious, ask questions, and embrace every opportunity to learn, as growth comes from consistently seeking knowledge and challenging yourself.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is balancing rapid innovation with responsible implementation. Organizations are moving quickly toward automation, AI, and more connected digital systems, but many are still navigating challenges around data quality, governance, cybersecurity, and user adoption. It’s not enough to build technology that works—we also have to ensure it is secure, scalable, and truly supports the people using it every day.
At the same time, I see incredible opportunities. Platforms like ServiceNow are evolving beyond traditional workflows into intelligent enterprise ecosystems powered by automation and AI, creating opportunities to streamline operations, improve employee experiences, and solve problems faster than ever before.
What excites me most is helping bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. There is a growing need for professionals who can think strategically, understand operations, and still build solutions with the end user in mind. I believe the future belongs to people who can combine technical skill with empathy, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.” Recent industry trends point to organizations prioritizing workflow automation, AI governance, and trusted data to scale effectively.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are kindness and respect toward others, a willingness to help those in need, and being a strong team player who contributes positivity to my environment. I also value making a meaningful difference through my actions, whether by supporting my team, uplifting others, or approaching every situation with empathy and purpose.
