Sandra Fabian Ramirez

Sandra Fabian Ramirez is an experienced business development professional serving as a Business Development Counselor II with the City of Austin’s Small and Minority Business Resources Department. For more than six years, she has helped small and diverse businesses navigate certification requirements, including MBE, WBE, SBE, and DBE programs. Her responsibilities include reviewing applications, guiding vendors through eligibility requirements, conducting CERT 101 webinars, and collaborating with community and government organizations to expand opportunities for local businesses.

Before joining the City of Austin, Sandra built a diverse career in business development, project management, customer service, and sales. She spent more than a decade with KPI Analytics, progressing to Senior Business Development Consultant, where she developed leads, managed CRM systems, supported sales teams, and trained employees. She also served as a Senior Project Manager in the sign industry, overseeing contracts, budgets, vendors, permits, production schedules, and project completion. Her professional background is complemented by education in Business Administration and Management from Southern Careers Institute.

Sandra is passionate about helping entrepreneurs access opportunities and resources that can strengthen their businesses. She takes particular pride in helping business owners successfully obtain certification and believes that hard work, determination, organization, and motivation are central to professional success. As a mother who had her son at a young age and is now a grandmother, Sandra also values leading by example and demonstrating the importance of strong work ethic and good ethics. She continues to develop her professional skills through training in business analysis, process management, and public speaking while working toward her PMP certification.
